When meeting with a Parent Coach, parents have an opportunity to discuss the challenges they face with their children’s behavior. Parents can contact a Parent Coach when they are feeling as if they have tried everything to control their child’s behavior with few results, and/or are not finding the joy that they want in parenting.

When parents are dealing with behaviors that leave them feeling frustrated, angry, powerless, and feel like giving up, a Parent Coach can help.

Children who are spirited, intense, or difficult often do not respond to traditional methods of behavior guidance and discipline. This can leave parents feeling that there is no hope or that something is “wrong” with them or their child. Learning new techniques with the help of a Parent Coach will alleviate these feelings of hopelessness and diminish unwanted behavior. After applying the tehniques within the house, parents will see their child(ren) display an increase in self-control, inner discipline, and self-esteem.

Parents meet with Stephanie for a 1 ½ hour initial session. Three sessions follow which are 1 hour in length. A minimum of four meetings is encouraged.

Meetings are scheduled two weeks apart. This allows parents to try out the techniques and to gather questions to be answered during the next visit.

Parents will begin to understand the underlying cause of unwanted behavior. This knowledge allows parents to learn how to authentically accept their children and see past unwanted behavior. Parents will learn a new set of skills to be their child’s best life teacher, resulting in better behavior and a stronger parent/child relationship.

The initial 1 ½-hour appointment is $175. The subsequent 1-hour appointments are $150.

Medical Savings Accounts can be used to cover the cost. Cash and checks are the only payment options at this time.
